What feels most natural about this flush-mounted sconce is how settled the room feels without looking overdone. The wall no longer feels like the unfinished part of the room. It has already been there for weeknight routines, family visits, and plenty of ordinary evenings.

This flush-mounted sconce works well for us, but I did rethink the hallway once before everything felt balanced. My first impression was more cautious than my opinion after living with it for a while.
