I noticed the update differently when a friend came for coffee and stayed through dinner; the room worked exactly the way I hoped it would. This chandelier works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it.

When it is takeout night, the main room looks more complete with this chandelier in place. The 6-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. On weekends, I notice it most when the main room stays busy a little longer than usual. It feels like a change that made everyday life in the room better.

Our Sunday morning routine made me appreciate how naturally this chandelier fits the main room. The placement took one small rethink, though I am happy with where it ended up in the space where everyone gathers. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression.
