The piece has been easy to work into the study because the overall design does not feel fussy. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. The case piece adds presence without making the room feel closed in. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in the study.

There is more cohesion in my hallway now, and it happened as soon as the case piece went into place. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that the case piece is part of my hallway. I would give it five stars if I had not spent so much time second-guessing the placement.

Within our living area, I was not looking for a dramatic change, yet this piece noticeably improved the way the space comes together. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
