Among the other furniture in our TV room, the piece has been easy to work into the room because the overall design does not feel fussy. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our TV room.

Here in our family room, the room now gets the kind of compliments that sound like people actually noticed the whole space. What surprised me was how much the surrounding furniture benefited visually, especially when everything is not perfectly styled.

For this part of the house, the scale of the room feels better to my eye now that this piece is part of the arrangement.

For this part of the house, the funny part is that the person who questioned this choice most is now the one who compliments this TV area piece. The different opinions in our house finally landed in the same place. The TV area feels much more intentional during an ordinary evening at home. It took me a few days to get used to the change in the room, but I would still choose it again.
