Vanguard Rendition Dresser

The overall look is calmer now that this dresser is part of my primary bedroom. It has become part of the bedroom without making the room feel overly styled.

There is more cohesion in the primary bedroom now, and it happened as soon as the piece went into place. It is distinct enough to notice and quiet enough to live with. The overall effect in the primary bedroom is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. From different parts of the primary bedroom, the piece still feels like it belongs with everything else. I wish I had planned the surrounding pieces around it sooner; once I did, the room made more sense.

For the bedroom, I wanted the house to feel lived in rather than staged, and this dresser works well with that idea. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

Looking at my bedroom now, I kept coming back to this piece because it looked like it would suit the room, and it does. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially during the ordinary parts of the week. I am pleased with the decision and with how my bedroom came together.
