By a quiet Wednesday night, the main room feels more settled with this chandelier in place. The 12-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. When friends are over, this chandelier simply feels like part of the central part of the house. The dining room needed a minor adjustment around it, which was more about our layout than the light.

Our main room felt different after the first holiday in the new house; adding this chandelier made the update feel a little more personal. Living with it through normal weeks made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one. The room still feels comfortable on ordinary nights and polished enough when people come over.
