Tommy Bahama Home Los Altos Ducane Rectangular Cocktail Table

When I look at the main sitting area as a whole, morning and evening, the table simply works with how we actually live in this room.

For the way we use the sitting room, nothing about this table feels forced in this room; it simply makes the arrangement look more intentional. The overall effect in the sitting room is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. I was aiming for something that would work with what we already owned, and this ended up being the right direction. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

The scale of the room feels better to my eye now that the coffee table is part of the arrangement. Even a simple evening on the sofa feels a bit more pulled together with it there. I like how the coffee table gives our living room a clearer point of view without taking over. The room feels more deliberate, but not like someone styled it just for a photo. The change is subtle on its own but noticeable in the room as a whole. The end result in our living room feels like our home, only more finished.

I keep finding small moments when I am glad we chose this piece, especially when the living room is being used normally.
