I wanted one strong piece without making our work corner feel busy, and this worked out well. What surprised me was how much the whole arrangement improved with one choice, especially with the rest of our furniture around it. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.

Here in the work room, I was not looking for a dramatic change, yet this piece noticeably improved the way this room comes together. I was aiming for a change that would not force us to replace everything else, and the room finally has that balance. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in the work room.

My mother asked if we had redone the whole room when really this work table was the main change. The compliments have been about the room as a whole, not just one object, which I like.
