Nothing about the chair feels forced in the living room; it simply makes the arrangement look more intentional.

I chose this chair during a post-move furniture reset, and it helped our sitting area feel less temporary. The timing made the purchase feel especially memorable, but I still like it just as much in normal daily life. I like how this chair gives our sitting area a clearer point of view without taking over. I would make the same decision for our sitting area again.

I had been overthinking this part of our living room; the seat solved the visual problem more simply than I expected. It has become one of the seats people naturally gravitate toward. The space looks polished while the house still feels lived in. It gives the room a place to pause without making the arrangement feel crowded. I wish I had planned the surrounding pieces around it sooner; once I did, the room made more sense.
