Here in my hallway, the piece has been easy to work into the room because the overall design does not feel fussy. The space feels calmer in the normal flow of the house. The overall effect feels considered without becoming precious. This console is a choice I am happy to keep living with.

We use the hallway all the time, and the piece has fit into that routine without making the space feel precious. What surprised me was how natural it felt with pieces we already had, especially once the smaller decor went back into the room. The piece has personality, but the room still feels like our home. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.
