Theodore Alexander The English Cabinetmaker Tristam Cabinet

Within the hallway, a lot of furniture looks good by itself, but this cabinet also works with the rest of the space. I was aiming for a more connected look across the room, and the space finally feels finished. What surprised me was how easy it was to keep the room feeling relaxed around it, especially during the ordinary parts of the week. There is character here, but not so much that the space feels busy. The case piece adds presence without making the room feel closed in. I would make the same decision for the hallway again.

Within my living area, living with this cabinet day to day has made me appreciate the decision more, not less.

The rest of our study finally makes more sense around this piece. The case piece adds presence without making the room feel closed in. It has settled into the room as though it had always been planned there. This piece is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
