A lot of furniture looks good by itself, but this piece also works with the rest of our living room.

In the family room, I notice the room more than the individual piece now, which is exactly the effect I wanted. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.

The room was close to done before, but the coffee table gave it the last bit of direction it needed. I like that the coffee table works with what we already had in our main sitting area instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. For our sitting room, I was not looking for a dramatic change, yet this piece noticeably improved the way the space comes together. There is character here, but not so much that the space feels busy. I notice it without feeling like the whole room revolves around it. It ended up being a stronger finishing touch than I expected. I can change smaller decor around it without feeling like the room has to start over. The end result in our sitting room feels like our home, only more finished.
