There is more cohesion in our main dining space now, and it happened as soon as this dining table went into place. I like that this dining table works with what we already had in our main dining space instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

Looking at our dining room now, I like furniture that settles into a space instead of dominating it, and this table does that in this room.

I bought this piece for everyday life rather than for show, and that is exactly how it feels in my main dining space. The dining area feels more inviting whether it is a quick weekday meal or a longer dinner. It has made everyday meals feel more connected to the rest of the room. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in my main dining space.

Nothing about this table feels forced in the dining area; it simply makes the arrangement look more intentional. It gives the room a clear center and makes the rest of the dining space feel intentional. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially when the room is being used normally. The overall effect in the dining area is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. I would make the same decision for the dining area again.
