Theodore Alexander Seated Toulon 96" Sofa

As a piece of the overall room, there is something nice about furniture that makes this room feel better without changing how you live in it. I would make the same decision for our family room again.

Family came over recently, and this sofa ended up getting more compliments than anything else in our living room. The different opinions in our house finally landed in the same place. The room has a better sense of proportion to my eye now. What surprised me was how little else needed to change once this was in place, especially when the room is being used normally. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.

As part of my family room, it is surprisingly hard to find furniture that feels distinct without feeling loud, and this sofa gets that balance right. I was aiming for a more connected look across the room, and the rest of the furniture makes more sense around it. I appreciate it most on ordinary nights when everyone is home. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in my family room.
