In our bedroom, I like furniture that settles into a space instead of dominating it, and this seat does that in the room.

A couple of guests have mentioned how pulled together our living room feels, and this piece deserves some of the credit. Our living room feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.

In my sitting area, it is surprisingly hard to find furniture that feels distinct without feeling loud, and this chair gets that balance right. Seeing this chair with the rest of my sitting area makes the whole arrangement feel more connected. I like that the room still feels relaxed rather than overly coordinated. I was aiming for a room that looked considered but not precious, and the space finally feels finished. I can change smaller things around this chair without feeling like the whole plan for my sitting area has to change. The end result in my sitting area feels like our home, only more finished.
