I notice this side table most during the ordinary parts of the day, which is probably the best compliment I can give it.

A couple of guests have mentioned how pulled together our sitting area feels, and this piece deserves some of the credit. The different opinions in our house finally landed in the same place. I was aiming for a room that felt collected rather than decorated all at once, and nothing around it had to change. What surprised me was how quickly it stopped feeling like a new addition, especially on a quiet weekday. It stands out just enough and still lets the rest of the room do its job. Our sitting area feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.

I like furniture that settles into a space instead of dominating it, and the piece does that in my bedroom. For me, that makes the piece one of the better choices we made for my bedroom.
