Theodore Alexander Essence Volcanic Metal Console

A close friend who is picky about interiors gave this piece an immediate thumbs-up in our front room.

For my entryway, this piece has a natural place in the room now, whether we are using the space or just walking through. I did not need to change the rest of my entryway for this piece to make sense there. Walking past it every day, I like the room more than I did before. I was unsure about the overall effect at first, but after living with it, I like the direction.

One addition made our hallway feel much less pieced together, and it was this console. This console is a choice I am happy to keep living with.

My mother asked if we had redone the whole room when really this console was the main change. Nobody treats the room like a showroom, and the piece still looks right in real life.
