The nicest surprise is how much the living room table improves the family room without drawing attention away from everything else. Nothing about it feels fussy in day-to-day use. It works well with the way we actually use the living room. It feels like a keeper.

From the sofa, I can see how much this coffee table helps the family room feel visually connected.

The biggest thing I notice is how easily the coffee table settles into the sitting area during weekend reading. It felt a bit more noticeable than I expected at first, but the room settled around it quickly. It made the middle of the room feel finished. The choice felt a bit more grown-up than what we had before, without making the house feel formal. The piece photographs well, but I actually like it more in normal everyday light. No regrets on this one.
