Theodore Alexander Althorp Living History Whilton Rectangular Cocktail Table

Here in our sitting room, a lot of furniture looks good by itself, but this table also works with the rest of the room. The space looks polished while the house still feels lived in. It gives the seating area a clear center without making the room feel formal. The room feels more grown-up now, but it still feels like a place we actually live in. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our sitting room.

A few weeks in, this coffee table still feels like the right decision for my living room. It works with what we already owned, so I did not feel like I had to rethink everything around it. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that this coffee table is part of my living room. I was aiming for something that would work with what we already owned, and this ended up being the right direction. I am pleased with the decision and with how my living room came together.

As the room stands now, this was the piece that made this room stop feeling half-finished. The best part for me is that our main sitting area still feels relaxed even with the table giving it more structure.
