Here in my hallway, I keep finding small moments when I am glad we chose the case piece, especially when the room is being used normally. I was aiming for a more intentional room without a full redesign, and nothing around it had to change. What surprised me was how well it worked in everyday life instead of only looking good on its own, especially when the house is busy. The overall effect in my hallway is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

In the finished room, there is a more finished rhythm to the room now, and the case piece anchors it nicely. The surrounding furniture now feels more connected. I was aiming for a change that would not force us to replace everything else, and the room finally has that balance. I like that it adds presence without making the space feel staged. I am pleased with the decision and with how the living area came together.

On a normal day, the piece feels like it has always belonged in our study. It is distinct enough to notice and quiet enough to live with. I did not need to change the rest of our study for the piece to make sense there. I am pleased with the decision and with how our study came together.
