Theodore Alexander Althorp Living History Floris Dining Arm Chair - Set of 2

A little time has only made me like this chair more in our family room. It stands out just enough and still lets the rest of the room do its job. I was aiming for a more intentional room without a full redesign, and the rest of the furniture makes more sense around it. It has become one of the seats people naturally gravitate toward. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our family room needed.

In our living room, my mother asked if we had redone the whole room when really this piece was the main change. The different opinions in our house finally landed in the same place. I actually like it more in everyday life than I expected from looking at it on its own. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.

For the family room, our routine did not have to change around this chair; it slid into this room naturally. The corner feels more inviting now without looking staged. That is enough for me to feel very good about the purchase.
