I wanted our family room to look collected rather than decorated all at once, and the seat helped with that.

Here in my living room, the room finally has a focal point that still feels easy to live with. The room feels more deliberate, but not like someone styled it just for a photo. I am pleased with the decision and with how my living room came together.

Here in my living room, one addition made the space feel much less pieced together, and it was the piece. It made the corner feel inviting rather than simply filled. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.
