By a calm Thursday night, the gathering space feels less unfinished with this chandelier in place. The change is more noticeable in daily life than it was when I first pictured the room. I like it most when the dining area is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.

I finished the room with this chandelier to make the room feel more finished, and the space feels more complete without feeling overdone.

Our dining area started feeling different once this chandelier was in place; my wife noticed the room first the next evening. The gathering space makes more sense as a whole now, which was the goal from the beginning. It has already been part of friends dropping by, quiet evenings, and plenty of ordinary days.
