As the room stands now, the overall look is calmer now that this dresser is part of this room.

My husband thought we could leave our guest bedroom as it was, but even he admits the dresser made the setup better. The overall effect in our guest bedroom is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. It gave the bedroom a stronger sense of structure without making it feel heavy. I would make the same decision for our guest bedroom again.
