In our primary bedroom, the overall look is calmer now that this bedroom piece is part of the room. The bedroom has a calmer, more complete feeling now.

In the finished room, morning and evening, this piece simply works with how we actually live in the room. The setup feels less random now, even though we did not change much else. It is distinct enough to notice and quiet enough to live with. I notice it without feeling like the whole room revolves around it. Our bedroom feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.

Everyone in the house had an opinion when I chose this bed, and now nobody wants me to change it. I did not buy it for compliments, but they have been a nice confirmation. The overall effect feels considered without becoming precious. I would choose the same direction again for this space.
