When the dining room is in everyday use, this table feels especially natural in the space. The room still feels relaxed, which was important to me. It works just as well on a normal weeknight as it does when people come over. We spend a lot of time in this part of the house, so I notice quickly when something feels out of place. It has earned its place in the room.

From the doorway, the open dining area has a better sense of balance now that this table is part of it. It feels appropriate for real life, not just for a styled photo. Very happy with how it has worked out.

During a little work at the table, this dining room centerpiece is the part of the breakfast room that makes everything feel more settled.

Used over family meals, the table feels like a genuine part of the breakfast room rather than something decorative only. Nothing about it feels fussy in day-to-day use. It works just as well on a normal weeknight as it does when people come over. Very happy with how it has worked out.
