Inspired by Alexander Calder's mobile artworks, this lamp uses both static balance and dynamic movement as design elements. In its unactivated form the Mobile represents a graceful harmony of balance and subtlety. When activated by gently nudging the system it becomes a hypnotic kinetic sculpture. The nudge sets in motion a series of graceful over-corrections until the Mobile slowly finds its way to equilibrium once more.

Around finishing the room update, a rainy Wednesday evening in the main room made this chandelier feel especially at home.

By a busy Tuesday evening, the dining room looks more complete with this chandelier in place. It has already been part of long conversations, slow weekends, and plenty of ordinary days. When friends are over, this chandelier simply feels like part of the main room.

We made room for this chandelier to make everyday evenings feel less improvised, and the space finally feels intentional.

My son kept commenting on how different the space felt after dark on a relaxed Friday morning, which made this chandelier feel even more natural in the central part of the house. Living with it through normal weeks made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one. Living with it through normal weeks made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one.
