Once the novelty passed, I still liked how the accent console made the foyer feel during everyday life. It made the entry feel much more considered. On busy days I barely notice it, but the room would definitely feel less complete without it. It has already been part of a few ordinary days and a couple of times when friends came over. I am pleased with the decision.

I keep noticing that the living room feels more balanced now, especially during setting the house up before company comes. It works nicely as the first piece you see when you walk in.

Kept in regular use, the entryway table still feels like a thoughtful addition rather than a trendy impulse buy. I have already stopped thinking of it as the new piece, which is probably the best compliment.
