As a piece of the overall room, nothing about this dresser feels forced in this room; it simply makes the arrangement look more intentional. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in the bedroom.

For our guest bedroom, I was trying to keep the space comfortable rather than overly styled, and this dresser fits that goal. The space feels calmer in everyday use. The room feels more finished, but not more formal, and that balance matters to me. The overall effect in our guest bedroom is stronger than the individual piece looked on its own. I would make the same decision for our guest bedroom again.

With the rest of the room unchanged, the rest of the space finally makes more sense around the piece. It makes the morning routine feel like part of a more finished room. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in the primary bedroom.
