In the context of our bedroom, I was not looking for a dramatic change, yet this bed noticeably improved the way the room comes together. What surprised me was how quickly the room started to feel finished, especially with the rest of our furniture around it. This ended up being exactly the kind of update our bedroom needed.

The piece was not an instant yes for everyone here, though it has grown on us and now feels right in my guest bedroom.

In the finished room, there is something nice about furniture that makes this room feel better without changing how you live in it. I did not need to change the rest of our bedroom for this bed to make sense there. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.
