In the overall arrangement, I wanted the house to feel lived in rather than staged, and the piece works well with that idea. The chair looks at home in the space even when the rest of the room is being used normally. I was hoping the piece would pull our reading corner together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated. The piece is a choice I am happy to keep living with.

Within our family room, I appreciate how the seat contributes to this room without competing with everything around it.

In our sitting area, it has been a quiet upgrade to the space and one we appreciate more in daily use than we expected. I was aiming for a room with a little more structure and a little less visual noise, and the room feels easier on the eye. I did not need to change the rest of our sitting area for the seat to make sense there. For me, that makes the seat one of the better choices we made for our sitting area.
