During family dinner, this linear pendant feels especially natural in the main gathering area. When friends are over, it simply feels like part of the room. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. I am glad we chose something that fits the way we actually live.

Our longer part of the room made the most sense once a couple of friends stopped by unexpectedly; people naturally stayed in the room longer. The 6-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start.

Saturday cleanup made me realize this linear pendant had already become part of the space over the table. When friends are over, it simply feels like part of the room. The space feels more complete while still feeling like our home.
