Monday calm guest prep is when this pendant light feels most at home in the kitchen area. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase. It has quietly become part of the way the room feels at the end of the day. I like it more now than I did when I first ordered it.

Our dining area felt different after the first holiday in the new house; adding this pendant light helped the new place stop feeling temporary. The room makes more sense as a whole now. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over.

Sunday weekend brunch made me realize this pendant light had already become part of the corner we use every day. It works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. The room needed a minor adjustment around it, which was more about our layout than the light.
