Saturday guest prep made me realize this linear pendant had already become part of the longer part of the room.

Wednesday weekend brunch made me realize this linear pendant had already become part of the dining area.

When it is friends coming over for dinner, the space over the table feels more welcoming with this linear pendant in place. I needed a few days to get used to the room with it there, but that hesitation passed quickly. It has quietly become part of the way the room feels at the end of the day. It has been a genuinely good fit for our home.

Our longer part of the room started feeling different once this linear pendant was in place; my brother started using that part of the room more naturally. The room now feels considered without feeling staged. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days.
