Tuesday slow family visit is when this wall sconce feels most at home in the upstairs landing. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. The space feels more complete while still feeling like our home.

Our small sitting area started feeling different once this wall sconce was in place; my mom noticed the wall the first evening. It has quietly become part of the way the house feels at the end of the day. When friends are over, it simply feels like part of the room.
