The room looks more resolved with this semi-flush ceiling light in place. I had already decided I wanted a 8-light version, so that detail helped narrow the choice.

What I appreciate most about this semi-flush ceiling light is how well it works with the rest of the room. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days.

Our living room made the most sense once a couple of friends stopped by unexpectedly; the room worked exactly the way I hoped it would. The 8-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start.
