Sunday busy weekend brunch is when this pendant light feels most at home in the room.

Ordinary Saturday mornings are when this pendant light feels least like a new purchase in the dining area. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. The room feels better for having it there.

Tuesday quiet weekend brunch is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the kitchen area. When friends are over, it simply feels like part of the room. It has been part of quiet mornings, busy evenings, and normal life.

Thursday cleanup made me realize this pendant light had already become part of the room. The room needed a minor adjustment around it, which was more about our layout than the light. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over. My first impression was more cautious than my opinion after living with it for a while.
