On a normal evening at home, I notice how naturally this flush mount fits the room. The overall setup feels intentional without becoming precious.

When it is everyone winding down, the hallway still feels easy to live with with this flush mount in place. I had already decided I wanted a 10-light version, so that detail helped narrow the choice. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.
