Thursday ordinary dinner prep is when this pendant light feels most at home in the kitchen area. The space feels more complete while still feeling like our home. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. The room feels better for having it there.

Friday relaxed late snack is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the breakfast area. The room makes more sense as a whole now. A few ordinary weekends made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one.
