The room update felt more convincing after my parents were the first person to say the room felt more pulled together. It has quietly become part of the way the house feels at the end of the day. When friends are over, it simply feels like part of the room.

Sunday rainy morning routine is when this flush mount feels most at home in the room. The placement took one small rethink, though I am happy with where it ended up. The space feels more complete while still feeling like our home. My first impression was more cautious than my opinion after living with it for a while.

The entry feels more intentional without looking formal with this flush mount in place. The 10-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. Walking through the room every day made me appreciate the choice more than I did on day one. The room feels better for having it there.
