Saturday weekend brunch made me realize this pendant light had already become part of the main room. I had already decided I wanted a 12-light version, so that detail helped narrow the choice. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days. The placement took one small rethink, though I am happy with where it ended up.

When it is an ordinary weekday, the room looks more complete with this pendant light in place.

Friday busy cleanup is when this pendant light feels most at home in the dining area. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over. The room now feels considered without feeling staged. I would make the same choice again for this room.
