Tuesday calm dinner prep is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the room. The 5-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start.

By calm dinner prep, this pendant light feels completely normal in the kitchen area. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. It has quietly become part of the way the room feels at the end of the day. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.

Our breakfast area made the most sense once we had company over on a quiet weekend; people naturally stayed in the room longer.
