Friday ordinary guest prep is when this pendant light feels most at home in the small eating area. The 4-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start.

Saturday relaxed family dinner is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the small eating area. The room feels finished but still relaxed. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. The room feels better for having it there.
