When it is the end of a long day, the small eating area makes more sense as a whole with this pendant light in place. The 4-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. It works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it.

Somewhere between takeout night and the rest of the day, this pendant light simply became part of the entry. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. The room makes more sense as a whole now. The placement took one small rethink, though I am happy with where it ended up.
