On walking through the hallway after dark, I notice how naturally this flush-mounted sconce fits the hallway. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. The overall setup feels intentional without becoming precious. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.

Living with this flush-mounted sconce day to day has made the hallway feel more finished without making it formal. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase.

The room update felt more convincing after my daughter thought the old setup was fine until this was in place. The space feels more complete while still feeling like our home.

Our upstairs landing made the most sense once we had family staying for the weekend; the room worked exactly the way I hoped it would. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days.
