Thursday calm cleanup is when this semi-flush ceiling light feels most at home in the main room. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. When friends are over, it simply feels like part of the room.

By slow morning routine, this semi-flush ceiling light feels completely normal in the room. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over. The room makes more sense as a whole now. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.
