The room changed at a good moment for us; after my birthday, this semi-flush ceiling light made the room feel ready when everyone arrived. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.

Saturday busy bedtime is when this semi-flush ceiling light feels most at home in the living room. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over. It has been part of quiet mornings, busy evenings, and normal life. The room feels better for having it there.
