Saturday ordinary coffee is when this armed sconce feels most at home in the hallway. I had already decided I wanted a 1-light version, so that detail helped narrow the choice. On weekends, I notice it most when everyone is home and the house is actually being used. I needed a few days to get used to the room with it there, but that hesitation passed quickly.

The room changed at a good moment for us; after settling into our new home, this armed sconce made the room feel complete at the right moment. I kept coming back to this one partly because I was looking for a 1-light version.
