By a slow Sunday night, the gathering space makes more sense as a whole with this chandelier in place. The best sign is that nobody in the house treats the room differently just because the update is finished.

My parents noticed the change before I said anything on a quiet Sunday night, which made this chandelier feel even more natural in the dining room. On weekends, I notice it most when the dining room stays busy a little longer than usual.

By a busy Wednesday night, the gathering space looks more resolved with this chandelier in place. I had already decided I wanted a 12-light version, so that detail helped narrow the choice.
