For the room, a relaxed Wednesday evening is a better test of this chandelier than any styled photo. The change is more noticeable in daily life than it was when I first pictured the room.

We chose this chandelier to make everyday evenings feel less improvised, and it settled into the room quickly.

On Sunday, a busy afternoon is when the central part of the house feels most complete with this chandelier. The room still feels comfortable on ordinary nights and polished enough when people come over. The whole space feels easier on the eye now without looking overly arranged.

By a calm Saturday night, the gathering space still feels easy to live with with this chandelier in place. I had already decided I wanted a 8-light version, so that detail helped narrow the choice. I notice the improvement most when the gathering space is being used normally rather than styled for company.
